This list was orginally created by Billy Passauer almost 10 years ago
so Eskie Owners could ask questions, give info and learn from one another.
After 6
years of his hard work Billy moved out of state and no longer was
able to host this list. In an effort to keep his contributions alive,
NetBotics www.netbotics.com
offered to host this list for free and has done so for the last 8 years.
This is a great place to ask questions, brag, meet other eskie owners and
learn about our most favorite breed. This list has also been very instrumental
in raising money for needy dogs, coordinating transport of dogs to forever homes and helping
rescue, specifically
Heartbandits, the National
American Eskimo rescue group, serving the US and Canada.
Be advised this is a private list... not a free yahoo type list but a list that
I choose to provide and pay for. With that being said I expect that my simple rules be respected by all.
The list has just a few core rules as follows:
1) I want to stress that we are all adults and in light of past
experiences, offensive and inappropriate comments will NOT be
tolerated. Feel free to contact me in private at
admin@eskiehugs.com
if there are concerns or issues.
2) Joining the list for the purpose of solicitation of products or services is strictly prohibited. If you have
something for sale do not use my list to market to! Contact me and we can discuss how to get your own website.
3) Joining the list for the purpose of selling animals for profit or breeding is strictly prohibited.
4) Public flamming will NOT be tolerated under any circumstances. Take it off the list
in private or be taken off the list!!!
5) While this list is indended to discuss dogs, specifically American Eskimo Dogs, lets face it from time to time we get off topic. Be considerate of those who
do not want to read about things other than eskie. Try and use short phrases (see below) in the subject when going off topic. This will
help others who do not want to read non eskie emails.
Welcome to the mailing list. Have fun and play nice!

* When sending a message to the Eskie list, please preface it with AE
(short for American Eskimo) and then a relevent subject.
If it's something not related to Eskies, preface the subject line
with NON-AE. Also, please make sure that you put SOMETHING in the
subject line; don't just leave it blank to help others who may not want
to read emails off topic.
Below are some suggestions:
AE rescue:
AE training:
AE agility:
AE general:
AE story:
Transport Help Needed
NON-AE Mail Problem:
NON-AE Humor:
Additional thoughts:
* Please think carefully when replying to messages. Ask yourself "Is my reply
something that the whole list should see, or is it targeted to the
individual to whom I am replying?"
* Lastly, sending pictures to the list is fine. Try to keep the sizes
reasonable for those who are on dial up.
Thank you and have fun!
